Thomas Taylor 

Doodled his way through childhood until they let him into Norwich School of Art and Design and then to study illustration at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. His first commissioned work was the cover illustration for a then unknown book called Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by J.K. Rowling. Since then Thomas has written and illustrated many children's picture books, and has more recently written texts for others to illustrate. Thomas lives in Normandy, France, where he shamelessly steals story ideas from his two sons. TOO MANY TICKLES! is his debut book for Macmillan.

Penny Dann 

Loved to draw so much when she was was little that she kept doing it at college and then Brighton University. Soon after, Penny started illustrating children's books, and she's never looked back, now with numerous books to her name. She is probably best known for her very popular The Secret Fairy series by Orchard, which has sold over 1 million copies worldwide. Penny lives in Brighton with her partner, Tom, and a very grumpy cat called Earl. TOO MANY TICKLES! is her debut picture book for Macmillan.
